If you met an introvert while browsing sites such as Interracial Dating, then it can be a fascinating experience. They give great advice and always have something witty to say. However, if you’re an extrovert, then you may have some personality conflicts with your partner at the start of your relationship.

But then, hopefully, you’ll adapt to their personality type and go on to build a wonderful relationship together. While dating your partner, you should never do these four things, as they may lead to serious disagreements between the two of you.

Don’t expect them to be as outgoing as you are.

Extroverts love to go out and meet new people. They are always the life of the party, and no fun can even begin until they arrive. It’s not uncommon to see extroverts attend parties on most nights of the week. Unfortunately, this may be the cause of many of your arguments if your partner is an introvert because it just isn’t how they operate.

It’s not that they don’t love going out. They just prefer to do it once in a while. Extroverts will love to drag their partners along with them to a party, but introverts will often decline to follow. As an extrovert, don’t take this personally. It’s just the way they are. Understanding this is key to a successful relationship.

Don’t invalidate their feelings.

Introverts express themselves very differently from extroverts. If you hurt an extrovert, they may react in several obvious ways. They may scream at you and even throw tantrums. On the other hand, it’s often complicated to tell when you’ve hurt.

As a result, you should never do anything to invalidate their feelings when they do express themselves. It often takes a lot to share their feelings, and you should always acknowledge them.

Never complain about their silence.

You have to understand that introverts and extroverts communicate very differently. Extroverts feel good when they talk. If your extrovert friend is feeling blue, all you need to do is to strike up a conversation and watch them come alive. Introverts, on the other hand, “recharge” by keeping to themselves. Being in crowds and talking to a lot of people can be draining.

They replenish their energy by spending time alone in their minds.Complaining about your  partner’s quietness isn’t going to accomplish anything, and will only strain your relationship. If you met an introvert while dating, you need to understand that they need to keep to themselves every once in a while.

Don’t forget to appreciate them.

Introverts are some of the most intentional people you’ll ever meet. They only take decisions after they have considered every possible angle and weighed all the pros and cons. You shouldn’t take their love for granted.

Being cavalier about your relationship is one of the worst things you can do. Not only will it dampen your intimacy, but your partner will also interpret it to mean they have made a wrong choice. Introverts are very sensitive people, and you should treat them accordingly.
