What America’s coming Revolution might look like

By Mark Wachtler

March 13, 2014. (ONN) To listen to the tens of millions of disgruntled American citizens tell it, America’s coming revolution is only a matter of when, not if. And if recent world events are any indication, the second American Civil War is a lot nearer than the American people know. The US federal government knows. They’ve been frantically preparing for war against their own citizens for two decades now. Has the time finally come?

The historic math formula for a successful rebellion in America has always been ‘one-third’. In 1776, when America’s founders declared their independence, the citizens of the 13 colonies were split. One-third supported revolution, one-third supported loyalty to the King, and one-third didn’t care either way. In other countries, a support level of 75 to 80 percent of the people is often needed to overthrow a national government. But in the US, where the people are armed, it only takes about 33% popular support. The founders demonstrated that fact.

Ukraine uprising spurs US warnings

With tensions, hostilities and revolution sweeping the Ukraine right now, Fox News recently asked a group of experts if a Ukrainian-style break-up is what America has to look forward to. The answer from at least one reputable panelist was yes. And before readers roll their eyes because it comes from the right-wing Fox News, the expert raising the warning was Pat Caddell, a professional pollster and a former White House adviser to President Jimmy Carter.

“What we’re seeing in the world, in Kiev, is American values at work,” Caddell explains to the TV audience, “These people and the rest of the world are saying we’re not putting up with this and we’ll put our lives on it. In this country, a populace is equally dissatisfied with its political class and its leadership. We don’t have the same overt oppression, but we have a very soft oppression of complacency in corruption.”

Concluding his warning of a coming American revolution, former Carter adviser Pat Caddell finishes, “In the American people, what you’re seeing there, they need their own outlet for that. But it is a warning. That was a great Tweet question because it’s coming.”

Statistics suggest Americans are ready for revolution

In support of the warnings about an American civil war looming right around the corner, many experts point to years’ worth of ever-worsening polls and surveys showing the people’s contempt for their own government in Washington DC. An Infowars report that featured the above Fox News segment also provides us with the results of a Rasmussen poll showing that only 17% of Americans believe their government is functioning with the consent of the people.

A more recent Gallup poll supports that suggestion by demonstrating that Congress’ approval rating at the start of 2014 was at a lowly 13%. And that’s actually a noticeable improvement over 2013 when only 9% of Americans approved of Congress’ performance. Also illustrating that an American civil war isn’t so far-fetched is the slew of 2012 secession petitions. A dozen states, mostly across the old southern Confederacy, amassed hundreds of thousands of petition signatures calling for their respective states to secede from the US.

When one state’s signature count surpassed a number five-times the threshold to garner a White House response, an administration official reiterated President Abraham Lincoln’s unilateral declaration that the United States of America has the same membership rules as the Mafia and any criminal street gang - once you join, the only way out is to die. Lincoln may not have used those exact words. But he sacrificed the lives of 750,000 American fathers and sons to make sure you and I never forget that it is in fact the law of the land.

White House staffer Jon Carson confirmed that fact saying, “As President Abraham Lincoln explained in his first inaugural address in 1861, 'in contemplation of universal law and of the Constitution, the Union of these States is perpetual’… the Constitution establishes a permanent union between the States.” Critics have always argued that sentiment is simply not true and a convenient excuse for tyrants. They also point to the ‘universal law’ Lincoln spoke of - might makes right. In nature and throughout the galaxy, the powerful dominate the weak. That’s nature’s way. But should it be America’s way?

Preparing for civil war

While the American people remain oblivious thanks to the ‘Subliminal Six’ - the six corporations that control America’s print and TV news - the US federal government is preparing for a violent revolution and a war against its own citizens. Whether it’s military survey questions asking soldiers if they’d be willing to shoot unarmed Americans while confiscating their guns, or entire mock American cities being constructed and used as practice for US soldiers to fight American citizens in their own American towns, the government is admittedly preparing.

In that second example, the recurring military training exercise instructs US soldiers that an American town has been taken over by ‘Tea Party insurrectionists’ and the US military must fight and defeat them to return control back to Washington. There are actions and examples of a non-military nature as well. Violently angry Americans point to rulings in California and Texas that ban American flag shirts in schools, not because there’s a rule against flag shirts, but because the Mexican students repeatedly complain that they are offended by the site of the American flag. Go-ahead and laugh at the notion. But 100,000,000 Americans aren’t laughing. You just don’t see them because according to your TV set, they don’t exist.

Not even a month ago, a Washington DC based government watchdog organization had its offices broken into. The agency specializes in protecting government employees who come forward to alert authorities of criminal activities being perpetrated by other government employees. Unfortunately, the Obama administration, like the Bush administration before it, has declared war on whistleblowers, opting instead to protect the criminals and crime rings rather than the victimized American people. Many, including this publication, wonder how a modern-day Watergate could occur without so much as a shrug of the country’s shoulders.

What America’s coming revolution might look like

Anyone with a love of history and a knowledge of American politics could arguably conjure up their own scenario of what the next American revolution will look like. Will it be a genuine revolution with widespread popular support and the government and its employees waging war against the citizens as just happened in Egypt? Or will it be a civil war, with entire states and their state governments seceding to form their own sovereign government, as is currently occurring in the Ukraine? Or will complete chaos ensue with a Yugoslav-style break-up occurring, resulting in a number of independent nation-states?

If we use one of the more recent mass actions as a scenario - the petitions to secede from the union - a dozen states will declare their independence, not with a disorganized protest or online petition, but by a legal vote of each State Legislature. Federal agencies will scramble to cut-off funding and services and reinforce military installations. And is happening in one state right now, individual states will force utility companies to cut-off services to federal bases until they surrender or go back to Washington.

With the US military occupying over 100 countries around the world, and with aircraft carriers and nuclear warheads being virtually useless in a house-to-house American civil war, the federal government will have to rely on local government employees and police agencies to violently put down the rebellion in their own states with military, intelligence and weapons assistance from Washington.

All politics is local

And just when it seems the federal government is putting down the rebellion, an unforeseen occurrence might just happen, possibly from China or Russia or Europe or even Wall Street. In a weakened and divided state, America’s adversaries won’t hesitate to destroy the two chains wreaking havoc throughout the world - the US Dollar and the US military. And Washington politicians may just realize their longtime allies on Wall Street aren’t really their allies at all. America’s corporations have also been the victims of a rampant, decades-long extortion scheme by Washington officials.

With massively populated states like California, Illinois and New York being staunchly in Washington’s pocket, it will be the rural areas that will slip through the iron-fisted grasp of federal authority. While America’s major cities are each home to millions of people, they’re compacted enough to be ruled by simply cutting off their water, electricity, gasoline or groceries. Those Democratic Party strongholds would remain loyal to the government in Washington regardless of what party is in power.

And those rural, small town Tea Partiers, Christians, home schoolers, libertarians, environmentalists, tax protesters, gun owners, pro lifers and all the other segments of the American people the federal government has deemed the enemy, will hold their own on their small piece of soil spread out over millions of American miles. And if victory isn’t won by either side right away, America may have a period where Washington rules half the country while local governments rule in the other half and each side stops killing each other militarily and ops instead to fight the civil war by subverting each other’s populations, if we’re lucky.

Fortunately for the American people, they have right on their side. Mankind has been blessed with free will and nobody values that more than Americans. Our nation was founded on it. The creators of the federal government in Washington specifically and publicly declared the right of any people to dissolve the ties that bind them to their government. For a government that was founded on that one single principal to fight a war against its own citizens to destroy that principal is an unwinnable war, at least in America. Let’s hope it never comes to that.
