May 10, 2012. (ONN) Alex Jones, the famed conspiracy buster who doesn’t prove wild-eyed social and political conspiracies wrong, but instead right, has launched a social network called Planet Infowars. While the site is still in initial beta mode, Jones is inviting patriots throughout the country to sign up and give it a try. Billing itself as the largest activist network in the world, the site already has 442 public Groups and thousands of users. It’s free and registration is simple and easy.

Alex Jones and Infowars specialize in bringing censored and covered-up news to their readers, viewers and listeners. Jones has become wildly popular among skeptical, free-thinking Americans from all corners of the political spectrum. He’s made documentaries about the attacks on September 11, pointing out the many official accounts that simply didn’t happen or don’t make sense. He’s dug through thousands of pages and years worth of information to not just prove the existence of groups like the Bilderbergs and the Trilateral Commission, but he shows up at their conferences and challenges their elite authority on behalf of the American people.
Alex Jones and Infowars
Internationally recognized veteran broadcaster, documentary filmmaker, and investigative journalist Alex Jones has been featured as a prominent figure of the 9/11 Truth Movement in such publications as The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone Magazine and Popular Mechanics. He has appeared on Good Morning America, The View, 20/20 Downtown, 60 Minutes, The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, Fox News, CNN, TalkSport (UK), Russia Today, Channel 4 (UK), A&E, America’s most widely listened to late night radio show, Coast to Coast AM, C-Span, and many other venues.
Now, Jones has launched ‘Planet Infowars – the largest activist network in the world’. The patriotic social network functions much like a combination of LinkedIn, Topix and Pinterest. In all, that should make for a successful and positive user experience. Rather than be ‘friend-based’ like Facebook and MySpace, and burry users with hundreds or thousands of friends and their moment-by-moment activities, Planet Infowars allows users to browse or search their list of topic and location-focused groups. Members can join as many of the network’s groups as he or she wishes. Like other sites, users can also control if, how and when they receive notifications from the group and website.
Alex Jones says Planet Infowars will become, “the premier patriot network.” He goes on to invite other patriotic Americans saying, “Be one of the first in the patriot community to test our new social network missile cruiser in the battle against the globalists. Join us today and become an active member of the growing revolution against tyranny by using the latest social network technology and tools.”
Jones gave us a few examples of how network members can participate. He gives the following points:
442 Public Groups
Currently, even at this early stage, Planet Infowars has 442 public groups to join. A quick tour of the most popular gave us these top 6:

News Items for Infowars
The most popular group, the Ron Paul Revolution, already boasts 792 members. It seems everywhere one goes online these days is ‘Ron Paul country’. Additional groups include local activists linking-up with others near by. Those are demonstrated by groups called, ‘Awake in Birmingham, Alabama’ and the ‘NE Ohio Info Warriors’.
Not all groups focus on information gathering and sharing. There’s actually a wide range of topics and groups to choose from. Some of the more interesting sounding include, ‘German Shepherd – Best Dog Ever’, ‘Inspirational Music’ and one can’t forget ‘Geodesic Domes and Aquaponic Techniques’.
Independent and 3rd Party Voters
Planet Infowars looked so inviting, we at Whiteout Press opened up an account. Many of our readers already follow us on the various other social networks. We couldn’t let an opportunity like this, to meet new, intelligent and free-thinking Americans, pass us by. After registering our username ‘Whiteout Press’, your author scrolled through the list of groups.
After a quick search, it was obvious the topic we were looking for didn’t have a corresponding group created for it yet. So, we decided to really give Planet Infowars a test drive and hit the button labeled ‘Start Groups’. The option sits at the top of every page like an invitation. We were pleasantly surprised to find that within minutes, we not only had a Whiteout Press account set up, but we also successfully started a group.
The Planet Infowars Group we opened is called, ‘Independent and 3rd Party Voters’. We invite all Whiteout Press readers and subscribers to stop by Planet Infowars and join our group. As our group's tag line states, ‘Independent news for independent thinkers and independent voters. All independents and opposition parties welcome. Be cordial. The system’s rigged against all of us equally. In that regard, we’re all on the same side here.’
